Jorge Cruise is a famed fitness guru and author of a number of weight loss books. He has worked with a number of Hollywood celebrities, and has most recently come out with a new way to approach weight loss, which is highlighted on offers a custom-built eating plan for dieters based on what they want to get out of the program. There are three levels of the program on, and dieters can change levels at any time, as long as they maintain their membership.*

The program is based on the science of what Cruise calls “Sugar Calories”. He contends that conventional wisdom about eating less and working out more does not necessarily lead to weight loss, as it is the types of calories that need to be looked at more than anything else. says that Cruise’s revolutionary way of approaching weight loss will produce guaranteed results.*

Do Dieters Lose Weight On The Diet?

Dieters using the approach to weight loss might in fact lose some weight. This will be primarily due to the fact that sugars are addressed in a big way. That means that even though it is not touted as such, the plan will reduce the calories a dieter ingests on a daily basis.* However, long-term weight loss will depend on each dieter’s ability to remain true to the diet and how much exercise they are willing to incorporate into their daily routine

Is The Diet Easy To Follow?

There is not a lot of information about the programs; rather, there is more of a tease. This is likely to entice dieters to join as a monthly member at $9 per month. However, the teaser information makes it seem as though everything will be custom tailored to each individual, which would mean it should be easy to follow.

However, there is not information on exercise, so a dieter will have to tackle that aspect on their own. This can prove to be frustrating for those who do not have a lot of experience in that department.

There is no question that Jorge Cruise has been a mainstay in the fitness industry for some time now. However, what is questionable is what you will get if you decide to sign up at While his approach to weight loss is unique, it almost seems to be a diet that simply has you reduce your sugar intake, which is kind of a no-brainier.

Furthermore, the website says that you will lose one to two pounds per week when following your custom plan, but this is nothing spectacular, and similar results can be achieved if you simply reduce you calories and exercise a little bit, which doesn’t require you to be on a paid monthly membership.

I bought all the books and was a member on their webssite. I was wanting to lose about 80 pounds adn was going nowhere with it. Site is very confusing to use so after failed attempts to get some help i decided to cancel the membership and was told i can only cancel at the end of the 30 days. I only lost 4 pounds in the whole month and tried to find a way to get money back to no avail. I really believed in this “doctor” and felt cheated after buying into this scheme. I am no longer a believer and I am hurt how some people can simply take advantage of people wanting to get healthier.

I bought Jorge’s “Belly Fat Cure” book and am following it. I am losing weight but I have to have a cheat day once a week to stay on it. To follow his 15/6 formula I can never eat a piece of fruit again, or have a glass of milk, or a cookie, etc. And, once I get down to my weight goal there is no mention of a maintenance plan. How do I stop losing weight but maintain?
