About Keto Fuel
Keto Fuel is a product rather than a diet that is said to help you lose weight as part of a calorie-controlled diet. As the name suggests, it’s more than just a simple meal replacement shake; it’s designed for advocates of the keto diet. The company behind Keto Fuel, Super Body Fuel, was set up in 2014. Based in the San Francisco bay area, small batches are made up and distributed regularly. Keto Fuel comes in a range of flavors and is designed to deliver optimal nutrition.

The products are vegan, hypoallergenic, and free of sugar and artificial sweeteners. You can choose from Unsweetened, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Pumpkin Spice, or Chocolate all for $50 for 20 meals or Strawberry, which is $60 for 20 meals.
The meals are intended to be blended with water and oil. You can choose different types of oil, but avocado oil is recommended. If you don’t fancy using oil to blend a drink (and I daresay plenty of people wouldn’t fancy it), you can choose to blend the powder with water and heavy cream instead. You vary the amount of heavy cream and oil you use as to the weight loss diet you are on. If you’re aiming for just 1000 calories a day from your four keto meals, then you just use 1 tsp of oil per meal or 1 Tbsp. of heavy cream. And if it’s not weight loss you are after, and you are aiming for a more substantial calorie count of 2300, then you blend 3 Tbsp. of oil per meal or 6 Tbsp. of heavy cream. For best results, you should use a blender, heavy cream, and leave the product already blended in the refrigerator overnight. It sounds a bit confusing, but the details are clear enough on the packet.
When kept in the refrigerator, it allows the fiber to absorb water and expand, thickening the drink and for the flavors to mix together. It also tastes better cold, like many milkshakes and similar drinks. You can also blend the mix with a banana or berries if you choose as well as other spices of your choosing.

The product is made up of a range of vitamins and minerals, so you are pretty much achieving your recommended daily amount for most. The macros in the product are organic brown rice protein, medium-chain triglycerides, and L-lysine. If you’re aiming to be on a keto diet, then most will advise that you aim for less than 10% of energy from carbohydrates, around 15% of energy from protein, and around 75-80% of energy from fat. It depends on how much oil or cream you are adding to the mix as to what the macros will be. If you are trying to lose weight with a low calorie amount, then your macros will stand at 5 carbs, 45 protein, and 50 fat, which could kick you out of ketosis. If you are adding more calories to make your four drinks have 2300 calories, you’ll hit 5:15:80 for oil and 5:20:75 for cream, which is more in keeping with a ketogenic diet. However, that’s if you are only eating Keto Fuel for four meals. Your overall macros can be adjusted with the other food you eat during the day aside from Keto Fuel
back to menu ↑Expected Weight Loss with Keto Fuel
Keto Fuel makes no claims as to how much weight you can lose, nor does it advocate an exercise program. Keto Fuel is more about providing you with optimal nutrition. It could be useful if you are too busy to cook, and Keto Fuel provides you with the optimal nutrition to keep you going and in ketosis without turning to junk food with carbs. It could be you’re a busy Silicon Valley-type that has no time for meals, and you prefer to sip your Keto Fuel throughout the day as you work away. Keto Fuel is also useful if you’re new to the keto diet and still learning about macros and what you should be eating. For many Keto Fuel is ideal to turn to as you gain experience with keto eating. Keto Fuel is a meal replacement, and for some people who have a difficult relationship with food, a meal replacement works well. Keto Fuel is also useful for people who are wanting to lose weight on a keto diet. To do this, simply pick the number of calories you wish to consume and make up the drink accordingly with minimal heavy cream or oil.
back to menu ↑Keto Fuel Refund Policy
There are no details of a refund policy on the website. The best advice here would be to take advantage of the sample meal that is offered at $5. Or maybe order a few different flavors to try out. That way you can see if you like the taste and if it works for you. Keto Fuel has a strange pricing policy in that you can buy 20 products for $2.50 each and 20 products at the sale price of $2 per meal. You are restricted to only buying 40 of the products at these prices in a two month period. If you want to contact Keto Fuel, you can email [email protected] and ask away. You can also take a tour if you live or are visiting the San Francisco area and see where the product is manufactured and meet the team.
back to menu ↑Final Verdict
Keto Fuel does what it says on the tin. It’s a meal replacement that has all the vitamins and minerals you need to provide optimal nutrition. While I am not personally a fan of meal replacements for many a shake instead of a meal is just what they want. It’s certainly a far better option than junk food. It is a meal replacement for those that want to eat the keto way. Once again, I am not a fan of the high fat keto diet, but for many, it’s just what they want and is ideal as standby so that you don’t slip out of ketosis by grabbing a snack with carbs. Very few snacks are keto-friendly, so it’s ideal for those times. It’s also ideal for people who are just getting used to keto eating and are not as confident about grabbing the right amount of nuts, don’t have a fat bomb, haven’t yet found keto-friendly snacks, and haven’t started to make keto-friendly food themselves. Keto fuel is ideal for all keto eaters, whether you are wanting to lose weight or not. If you are losing weight the nutrition is clearly labeled so you know exactly how many calories you are eating. I find the idea of adding oil to a meal replacement decidedly unpleasant when you then drink that oil. However, you don’t have to add oil, and by all means, the product is best consumed if made with heavy cream. I’d certainly take the time to whizz it up in a blender and with heavy cream and chill overnight. In which case, it seems perfectly palatable. If meal replacements are your thing and you’re doing keto, then this small friendly firm provides optimal nutrition, so they are definitely worth trying out.
