Phentremine is an over the counter weight loss pill that contains ingredients like synephrine and hoodia gordinii. There are different types of Phentremine available, some containing different ingredients which will then require a prescription.
They are spelled slightly different (Phentermine vs. Phentremine). This particular supplement I will provide the ingredient list below so there is no confusion, and it does not require a prescription.
These two different weight loss supplements are spelled very similar, but they are very different as far as composition makeup of ingredients. [1] The company that manufactures Phentremine is USP Pharma.

The Final Verdict
Do not get confused between Phentremine and Phentermine. This is a supplement that is recognized for it’s ability to suppress an appetite. The latter of the two is actually a pill that must be prescribed.
How Does Phentremine Work?
Many would describe phentremine as a supplement, and it is meant to be taken orally and works as an appetite suppressant, and that is it. When doing research on this supplement there is little information about it, because it gets overshadowed by “Phentermine” which is much more potent and requires a prescription. It is meant to cause a natural appetite suppressant and nothing more, so the side effects are rather miner in the grand scheme of things.
back to menu ↑Is Phentremine Safe?
To be clear, Phentremine does NOT contain phentermine HCI which is the cause for a prescription. [2] This product is much safer than the HCI type, as this one comes with a lot more side effects which are not pleasant.
- Hoodie Gordonii
- Yohimbine Extract
- White Willow Extract
- Citrus Aurantium
- Chromium
- Caffeine [1]
Pros and Cons of Phentremine
Because there is very limited information about this supplement, it can be seen as a con. It is also not found many places to buy, so another con. I am sure many people get Phentermine and Phentremine confused, and there are multiple sources available out there for Phentermine which may ultimately cause a purchase or interest in the wrong supplement. The pros are the natural effect of this supplement, but I do not like how similar their names are as it causes confusion.
Conclusion
All that is told about Phentremine is that it is a supplement and it does not require a prescription. It is not sold in many places, nor are there instructions on how to take the supplement or the cost. It is not readily available to people who are interested in purchasing it, and gets confused easily with Phentermine. While they are both weight loss pills, they have completely different ingredient lists and come with different side effects. Be careful when looking into taking either pill as they will have side effects one being more severe than the other.
Haven’t actually taken it yet apart from my first today, the first thing that has made me sure that it must be a scam is the fact that it did not come in sealed plastic bottles as advertised but in a foil pouch which was torn at the bottom and pills fell out! Also there is no data whatsoever to be found in % of caffeine used, if my appetite is suppressed today then they are rubbish and not worth the money!
