The Perfect 10 Diet is done in three stages. The first stage has the dieter go on a low carbohydrate diet that eliminates all grains and alcohol for a full three weeks. The second stage has the dieter eat the same kind of foods, but does allow for small amounts of grains and alcohol to be added back in and is done until the dieter reaches their desired weight. The third stage is meant to be a maintenance phase and allows for a little more grains and the occasional sweet treat.
Along with the diet there is also a strict exercise regimen that must be followed. This includes walking for one hour every day and strength training three to four times per week for 45 minutes per session. You cannot follow this program without exercising, so just know that this will be time consuming! Exercise is time consuming, but it is only going to help you in the long run so it should not be seen as a bad thing.
Do Dieters Lose Weight On The Perfect 10 Diet?
Weight loss that comes from the Perfect 10 Diet usually comes in the short-term. After the shine wears off, so does the streak of weight being kept off. This is of course depending on whether or not the participant does the required amount of exercise each week. However, long-term weight loss is harder to achieve as a dieter that returns to a normal level of eating would quickly see all the achieved weight loss be reversed. It takes about 3 weeks to form a habit, so if you are on the program for less amounts of time don’t fall away from routine.
Is The Perfect 10 Diet Easy To Follow?
The Perfect 10 Diet is very restrictive and is therefore not the easiest diet to follow. First, you have to be willing to completely give up alcohol for a full three weeks, which isn’t easy for everyone. Additionally, you have to give up many types of foods and whole food groups which can lead to a lot of craving and some slippage here and there.
However, it is the strict exercise regime that many will have a problem with. Exercise is not only required, but it is required for at least one hour each day and almost two hours three to four days per week. This can be tough to do if you do not have a lot of spare time on your hands.
Conclusion
The Perfect 10 Diet is great in theory but when you look at it closely it really is little more than a low carbohydrate diet that requires lots of exercising. The claim that the diet balances the body’s hormones which is what makes the body lose weight, is likely not accurate as the strict exercise regime is emphasized a lot. So, restrict your calories, cut out bad carbohydrates and exercise like crazy and you will lose weight. This is information that you likely already know without having to spend $24.99 on the book.

Very, very expensive. My daughter and I tried this and lost 25 or more pounds, not in the time they promised, but we did. Then I developed psoriasis and a dermatologist ordered me off all the products. The psoriasis improved dramatically in one day. The Slim4LIfe staff refused to admit fault. My daughter and I also developed anxiety and panic attacks, we were taking ALL their products. They refuse to take responsibility and continued to claim all the while that they are highly trained counselors. Well, their highly trained counselors ignored all our complaints of rashes and panic attacks and anxiety and insomnia. I strongly feel that this program is dangerous. Someone could take their life from the mood swings.
