About VShred Diet

VShred is a fitness and exercise program that comes with a personal coach to help you achieve your weight loss and fitness goals. All in all, not a bad concept. And they say they are going viral with their fun but challenging workouts, easy to follow diet plans, and premium supplement range.

They aim to have transformed 20 million lives over the next five years! They currently have 45 employees and 19 world-class trainers but say they aim to double that. Which I imagine they’ll have to with 20 million clients to serve.

The program works by filling out a questionnaire about yourself and your goals. They also ask you about the food you like to create a personalized diet program for you. After all, there’s nothing worse than a diet that tells you to eat something you hate. From that, they put together a customized program for you.

They offer personalized advice, answers to your questions, and they’ll be there to hold you accountable, and push you through your plateaus. Whether it’s motivation or cutting edge techniques, VShred will be there for you.

Personalized Plan

The thing that makes V Shred stand out is that they give you a full plan based on your health and fitness goals. When you go to the V Shred website for the first time, you will be asked a series of questions about your gender, weight, height, body type, level of activity, and fitness goals.

From there, the site takes you to a 20–30 minute video by founder Vince Sant that talks about how one of V Shred’s fitness programs will help you reach your fitness goals.

After I filled out this survey, the site told me what they thought my daily macro needs were. The site said that I should eat about 2,300 calories a day, with 53% of those calories coming from carbs, 22% from protein, and 25% from fat. These numbers will depend on your own health, though.

Next, V Shred lets you buy a fitness program package that the site chooses for you based on the answers you gave. The courses you are given will be different from mine, but mine included:

Mobile Workouts: All V Shred programs come with mobile versions of workouts you can do at home or in the gym. These workouts include descriptions of the exercises, how-to videos, and set and rep counts.

Beginner Diet Guide: This plan teaches you the basics of dieting and nutrition and gives you tips on how to make it fit your needs.

Advanced Diet Guide: This second diet guide builds on the first one by showing you how to make your own diet plan and how to change it when your goals change.

The 10 Commandments of Fitness: This book shows you how to get the most out of your workouts by following some basic fitness rules.

Workout Log: This 90-day exercise journal gives you an exact training plan, including the types of exercises, the number of reps and sets, and the amount of rest you need.

You’ll get a detailed cardio plan for short workout sessions meant to trigger the EPOC (Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption) Effect, which is meant to help you keep burning calories after your workout.

Ending: This short pamphlet is meant to give you the motivation you need to stay on track for the full 90 days.

The following programs were added to my plan as a bonus:

Six Pack Shred: This guide to Vince Sant’s core workouts has exercises for beginners, those who are in the middle, and those who are more advanced.

The Booty Builder: This planned workout works on four parts of the buttocks to tone and shape them.

Recipe Guide: This guide was made with the help of a famous chef from Los Angeles. It has tasty, healthy recipes that can help you lose weight.

Supplement Guide: The videos in this guide teach you about good supplements so you don’t waste money on things that don’t work.

This whole package is available for a one-time payment of $57. Based on your quiz results, we found that this is the average price for all personalized V Shred packages.

VShred University

V Shred had a service called V Shred University that you could sign up for. This plan gives you access to a new workout and diet plan every month, as well as hundreds of exercises, tutorials on nutrition and supplements, and a members-only community where you can talk about your goals and stay motivated.

You can also take part in weekly Q&A sessions and Live Coaching Calls to get feedback on your progress that is specific to you.

The first month of V University costs $1, and each month after that costs $15.99. In the rules for the program, it says that you can quit at any time.

How Much Weight Can You Lose with VShred?

VShred offers customized 8 or 12-week plans. There are no expected weight loss goals mentioned, but the questionnaire asks how much you want to lose (or gain) on their 8 or 12-week plans. While they don’t specify an amount of weight, they say they will help you reach your goals three times faster.

You are asked in the questionnaire if you are looking for a 5-10 pound weight loss or a 20-pound weight loss, so in that way, that’s what you can expect if it’s realistic, within 8-12 weeks. Your membership fee pays for you to check in once a week to help keep you on track. However, VShred says you can check in an unlimited number of times. Support is given by email.

How Much Does VShred Cost?

The VShred program is a diet and exercise schedule you are supposed to follow to the letter. Each program is customized for where you are and who you are and the results you want to achieve. You need to stick to the diet set out for you as well as the exercise program.

The package costs $149 for your customized diet and exercise program that you can tweak with your trainer if you like. No doubt, the trainer or coach will also suggest supplements to take. Supplements seem a little overpriced, in my opinion. Take the turmeric product. It’s just turmeric, turmeric root, and black pepper extract. Yet it sells for an incredible $49.00 for a month’s supply. Grab turmeric from your kitchen along with black pepper for cents.

Is VShred Backed By Science?

There’s plenty of science behind the VShred package. It’s a diet and exercise program with some expert coaching. We all know that this works. The supplements are a different matter. There are thermogenic burn supplements, pre and post-workout blends, protein, greens, enzymes, BCAAs, and neuroctane. My fear is that there could be a hard sell to get you to buy bundles of supplements amounting to hundreds of dollars. However, all the supplements have relevant scientific studies attached.

24% of users say they would tell their friends to use the program. On Trustpilot, where there are more than 750 reviews, the situation is different. V Shred gets 4 stars after all of these reviews.

Most Often Heard:

  • Well-thought-out plan for what to eat

What Is the VShred Refunds Policy?

A lifetime satisfaction guarantee covers the supplements. They state that you can have your money back if you’re not happy after trying the product. As far as the advice is concerned, you can check out the refund policy in full. Custom diet and exercise plans are not refundable. This is due to the amount of time that each trainer spends in customizing the program according to the refund policy. However, if you just buy a workout plan such as Fat Loss Extreme for Him or Her, you can get a full refund.

Conclusion

VShred is certainly not dangerous, and the diet programs are likely sensible. However, it’s not clear without subscribing as to what the diets entail. It is all about following a healthy diet and exercise program. So there’s nothing wrong with the program, the only thing is if you’re prepared to pay $149 for what is essentially someone’s opinion as to how you can tweak a fitness program to get the best weight loss results. If money is not a major object, then it’s worth a shot.

You do get the weekly check-in and as much guidance online as you’d like via emails. You can get the same kind of advice by joining a weekly slimming club for a lot less. Of course, this promises cutting edge advice and techniques, but it’s up to you as to how much value you place on such cutting edge advice.

You are essentially getting a coach, a little like a personal trainer that could be able to give advice and have exercises that zone in on your problem areas. What I am concerned about is how many supplements they’ll advise you to take.

There are heaps of different types, and none appear to be miraculous. Just ingredients like turmeric are scientifically proven to help you slightly but not much and certainly not worth $50 a month. The thing about this program is if you have paid your money, it’s likely to make you more serious about following a program that will result in weight loss.

You’ll then have no complaint about the supplements you are taking since you’re losing weight. But the supplements you are taking are unlikely to be helping you a great deal. If you like the idea of the VShred program, then, by all means, give it a go. But it would be wise to save your money when it comes to all the supplements. Instead, just stick to the diet, workout hard, and be sure to get in touch with your trainer as often as you like. Best of luck!
