My goodness. I’ve reviewed the diet, supplement, after-powder, and after-program. Each one I review rarely surprises me. Some I like. Most I find to be much of a muchness, with nothing new to bring to the table. Just a slightly different packaged program, pill, or powder. Then I took a look at Eat to Perform reviews, and finally, I found something different and inspiring. So here’s how to Eat to Perform works:

How Does Eat To Perform Program Work

It works by having you eat around your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE) to begin with. Paul explains that your TDEE is made up of your resting metabolic rate, the exercise you take, the amount used to digest your food, and your non-energy activity thermogenesis (NEAT).

Paul explains that the main energy expenditure is made up of your RMR and NEAT. By eating less, he explains that you decrease your RMR and your food digestion energy rate, and you are in a constantly losing battle. Paul advises working near your TDEE to increase your RMR and increase your muscle mass by shifting your workouts to less cardio and more lifting weights. 

Freedom for yoyo dieting

The goal of Paul’s method is to increase muscle mass and TDEE and never to go too low with calories during the fat loss phases. Even during fat loss phases, there is a Super Day every 7-10 days when you can overeat by around 500 calories over your TDEE. For losing more substantial amounts of weight, the diet goes in a 6-week cycle of eating around the TDEE and building muscle and then 6 weeks of fat loss where the amount of calories consumed is below TDEE.

Larger people will have a higher TDEE for example around 3000 calories because they weigh 300 pounds. There is no reason for a person who needs 3000 calories to go to the low-calorie diet of around 1500 calories or fewer. This is because they will still have a calorie deficit if they eat much higher amounts. And they can easily eat 2250 and lose a quarter of a pound a day. It’s certainly a novel approach that is not being practiced by other programs.

Perhaps the main thing to be noted about this diet is that it is centered around exercise, and you’ll be exercising most days. This approach is only going to be suitable, therefore for people that have the time and ability to train. You won’t be expected to be anything more than a beginner, just capable of moving and lifting some weight. You’ll also need to be in it for the long haul. This is an approach that aims to educate and break the oppression and madness of yo-yo dieting.

Conclusion

It takes a little more effort to plan your meals, weigh your food, and keep track of your statistics while using Eat to Perform. Although Google Sheets that automatically import your data from MyFitnessPal have greatly simplified the process, you still need to enter your activity information, workout information, and sleep information. Overall, I’d estimate I worked on this for less than fifteen minutes a day, thus the outcomes were worthwhile to me.

The amount of precision that my Eat to Perform coach, Jason Miller, was able to offer astounded me. It is a fantastic program, in my opinion, especially for strong athletes wishing to advance in the gym. Unless you would consider beginning a strength training program, it might not be worth it for you if you are a coach potato or a chronic cardio addict.

You do, however, need to commit to a slower approach. Eat to perform has helped over 20,000 people since it was founded. I would strongly recommend this healthy approach over any other diet I’ve reviewed this year or ever, for that matter. Ten out of ten, finally, a realistic and healthy approach to dieting.
