The company has been in business since January, 2015 and is located in Wilmington, DE. Aptulux is a weight loss supplement that promises exactly what all of us want. Reduce cravings, improve metabolism, and reduce fat (according to their representative it can shed fat in half), which in turn will strengthen your immune system and get rid of unwanted fat.* Sounds great, but does it really do all of that? On their home page Aptulux has listed the ingredients as: garcinia cambogia, aloe vera, cascara sagrada, and gymnema sylvestre. No amounts for the ingredients have been provided.*
How Does Aptulux Work?
Garcinia Cambogia has recently become known as the “magic pill” after Dr. Oz has mentioned it as a possible weight loss aid. It seems that anything Dr. Oz mentions on his popular daytime TV show becomes a magic solution.* Magic enough for many companies to become extremely rich. Garcinia Cambogia has not been clinically proven to be effective in any way when it comes to weight loss.* No clinical studies can be found proving it’s effectiveness. Aloe Vera and Cascara Sagrada can be effective as a relief from constipation, and because of their laxative effect you could lose a few pounds of water. Gymnema Sylvestre is a medicinal plant and really has very minimal effects to benefit your overall health.
Do Dieters Lose Weight On Aptulux?
Because this product is marketed through affiliate sites and is not available on any trusted sites like Amazon or health food stores, I was unable to find any true and worthy customer testimonials. Looking at the ingredients with the laxative effects I can see how taking this product for long periods of time could make you lose water weight. Be careful though, and make sure to replenish your body with liquids.*
Is Aptulux Easy To Follow?
Yes. The recommendation is to basically take two pills a day whenever you want. When calling into their support line, the Customer service representative could barely speak English on the phone and was extremely difficult to understand. She told me that no diet or exercise changes are needed to be successful with Aptulux and that expected weight loss is great in two months.
The official website is confusing and uses tactics to make you believe there is a limited amount of time to buy the product. The company really tries to push the product, as if it will be sold out very soon and therefore you need to make your decision before you change your mind.
The price is hidden until you enter your information, which of course can be used for further marketing or even sold to other companies. Once you enter the information the price is still confusing. Only the price per bottle is shown, which of course is the lowest if you buy more bottles. So, the price you see is not for one bottle, it is the price PER bottle.*
Looking at questionable tactics used to sell the product, lack of customer testimonials, length of product on the market and lack of any proven studies to show the effectiveness of the product makes me warn you against this product.
There are many supplement products on the market today. Some work better than others. In my opinion nothing works better than a change in eating habits and lifestyle. It is not as quick as you might want it to be (we all are looking for the results “yesterday”) but it will bring you long-term success. There are many programs that will not only offer weight loss supplements but will also provide customer support and clear dietary plans.
*Please keep in mind that with any diet or weight loss program, individual results will vary.
