Both are clear and bubbly, but do not get confused about their ingredients being the same. They are very different even though they look very much the same. By the name you would think that soda water was the unhealthy choice, when in reality tonic water is full of sugar. For one 12 oz. bottle you will be drinking 32 grams of sugar, which is almost as much as a soda pop! Very deceiving isn’t it? Opt for soda water over tonic any day!
Try pinching a little lime in with soda water for an equally delicious taste, and a lot less calories and sugar to go along with it!
