How can ginger help reduce weight?

#2 Ginger, Lemon and Cucumber

  1. Pour 2 liters of boiling water into a saucepan
  2. Add lemon to taste, mint, 2 peeled and chopped cucumbers and two teaspoons of grated ginger root
  3. Cover the pan with a lid and let it sit overnight

This tea can also be drunk hot or cold. Use glass bottles for leftover tea, which can be stored in the fridge for a few days. This tea will help get rid of unpleasant sensations in the stomach, speed up metabolism and flush out the water. Try drinking around 64 ounces a day.

#3 Ginger and Garlic

  1. In a thermos: pour in 32 ounces of boiling water and throw two peeled and chopped cloves of garlic
  2. Add a teaspoon of ginger root and leave for two hours
  3. 32 ounces of this tea per day will be enough to lose significant amount of weight.

#4 Ginger and Green Tea

If the taste of ginger is not appealing to you, this is the recipe for tea where it is almost palpable.

Brew your favorite green tea and add a pinch of grated ginger, stir and drink. If the tea is fruity you will barely feel the taste of ginger.

#5 Ginger and Cinnamon

This recipe is will particularly appeal to those that enjoy the tart taste of ginger.

Brew a cup of green tea and throw in a few slices of ginger, cardamom pods couple, little clove and cinnamon

Mix everything well

For a more expressive taste add lemon and honey

Pickled Ginger Diet

Pickled ginger root is often used when trying to lose weight. The use of it is especially popular in Eastern medicine. You can find pickled ginger roots at any grocery store but it is much more effective when prepared at home.

Pickled Ginger

  • 1 lb. fresh ginger
  • 1 cup Rice Vinegar
  • ½ cup dry White Wine
  • 2 Tbsp. Vodka
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar

Wash thoroughly and peel the ginger root. Wait until it dries out a bit. Next, coarsely chop and toss it into the boiling water, boil it for just a couple of minutes. Remove ginger from the boiling water, let it cool and slice it thinly. Ginger is now fully ready to be pickled. In a meantime pickling juice needs to be prepared.

Mix together: sugar, vodka and wine and boil until sugar is completely dissolved. Add 2 spoons of vinegar at a time and wait for mixture to start boiling. Place chopped ginger in a glass jar and pour the cooled mixture over it, close the lid and refrigerate for a few days.

Now you are ready to begin the pickled ginger diet. Eat small amounts of it before each meal to see results within just one week!

Just like with anything there is no magic cure when it comes to losing weight. There is no one thing that will make you lose weight but adding a few things, changing a few habits will go a long way and help you lose the weight for good rather than providing you short lasting quick fix.
