The New Me Diet Review

The New ME Diet was developed by two holistic physicians Jade Teta and Keoni Teta who say it is a revolutionary approach to losing weight. The two developed the New ME Diet with the idea being that the body’s hormones must be put back in order for proper weight loss. Once they are the body then will become a fat burning machine with a metabolism that can’t be stopped.

The two claim that when the New ME Diet is followed properly a participant can expect to lose up to 15 pounds within the first three weeks. While that is an astounding feat as it is, the promise for continued weight loss success is even better as 0.5 to 2 percent of the participant’s body fat is expected to come off each week thereafter.

This is all started with the participant filling out a questionnaire to help figure out what type of metabolism they are. The types of metabolism according to the Tetas are sugar, muscle, and mixed burner. How a participant’s results come back will help shape the diet they undertake.

Do Dieters Lose Weight on the New Me Diet?

Dieters on the New ME Diet will likely lose weight, especially in the short-term. However, it may be due to more than simply shifting the way in which you eat. The program expects all participants to walk for 30-60 minutes each day so the combination of exercise and the lower calories that would come as a result of the diet would likely mean some weight loss.

However, long-term weight loss would vary. It would all depend on how well a participant was able to adhere to the program after they have already been on it for awhile.

Is the New Me Diet Easy to Follow?

The New ME Diet is easy to follow as far as what you are expected to eat and how much exercise you are expected to do each day. However, it is a diet that will greatly shift what you are used to eating. This means that many of your favorite foods, and possibly some entire food groups, will be no more. So, your results will depend on how well you will be able to fight your food temptations.

In addition, the New ME Diet calls for walking every day. Granted, walking isn’t all that hard, but what might be hard for some is coming up with the time in which to do so every day. Those who already live a busy lifestyle may find that 30-60 minutes every day is simply too much.

The New ME Diet claims to be a revolutionary diet, but there are many other diets on the market today that address the importance of hormonal balance in the body. The New ME Diet costs $22.99, but the costs won’t stop there. The diet plan focuses greatly on fresh and natural whole foods, many of which have to be purchased at specialty stores. This adds to the overall time it takes to do the diet, as well as the overall cost which might make it too much of an undertaking.
