Think Diet Review

The Think Diet was developed by David Meine, a certified hypnotherapist who specializes in weight loss. With the book, Think: Use Your Mind to Shrink Your Waistline, Meine tackles 10 particular mental behaviors that can be changed in order to help a participant gain the shape of their dreams. In this manner, Meine contends that weight loss is as much about a person’s mental state of being as it is about anything else.

Do Dieters Lose Weight On The Think Diet?

The Think Diet does touch on some information that would prove helpful to almost anyone who is trying to lose weight. For example, the Think Diet talks about eating more frequently throughout the day, even if the portions are smaller. So, using these tricks could lead to at least some short-term weight loss.* However, any long-term weight loss would be in question, as there is no guidance as to what to eat or even when to eat it.

Is The Think Diet Easy To Follow?

The Think Diet is very easy to follow, as there are no restrictions on any kinds of foods. However, where dieters will likely run into problems is with the actual implementation of the Think Diet. Eating five times a day can be challenging for those who are short on time as it is, not to mention trying to figure out what to eat.

With no guidance to speak of, staying true to a more mental diet can be taxing. Those who start and have little to no success, as a result of the lack of guidance, will likely fall off the diet and simply revert back to what they’ve always known, which is usually not a healthy way of being.

The Think Diet is a great diet in theory; think your way to a thinner you. However, it is simply not enough to think about being thin and fit – action is always going to be required.

While the cost of the book is not bad at $14.99, consider what it covers. The Think Diet does go over some important points of successful weight loss, but it only touches on the overall picture. There is no guidance whatsoever in the area of nutrition or exercise. So, where thinking positive might be a vital part of becoming fit, it is only one part, and unfortunately the Think Diet alone will not be very effective for those seeking real weight loss solutions, or at least solutions that are a bit more structured.*
