The UltraSimple Diet was written by Dr. Mark Hyman, and it was published back in 2007 with the idea that toxic foods are causing inflammation which in turn causes weight gain. With targets to belly fat, and the idea that fat can stay off once it has been lost this book makes large promises with one goal in mind, your purchase. The name of the diet plan is very misleading, as many different yoga sessions are required throughout the day, as well as detox baths and walks. I will get to that later on, just beware that this diet is not as simple as the author Mark Hyman makes it appear on the front cover.
The publisher Simon and Schuster is not a BBB accredited company, but they have a page here. When looking into a customer service platform, it was difficult to find one readily available to the customer; this may be due to the fact that it is a diet book not a diet supplement or actual product offered.
Do Dieters Lose Weight On The UltraSimple Diet?
You might as well jump to page 130 in the book because that is where the diet actually starts, after all of the explaining and talking is completed. Many people could not even get to the weight loss part of this diet, because it was so over stimulating and complicated (again a misleading title!). There have been more failures than successors on this diet, and it is simply due to the rigorous daily requirements, as well as a strict food plan of “Ultra’ products that may or may not taste that good to you.

Is The UltraSimple Diet Easy To Follow?
This diet has made more people mad and frustrated simply do to the fact that it does not market itself truthfully. The Ultra Simple Diet is one of the most complex and difficult diets to follow when it is all said and done. Many people gave up on trying to stick with the rigorous daily routine that they have you following. For example, you are instructed to wake up at least 2 hours before you leave the home so you have time for 20-60 minutes of yoga, and time to drink lemon juice in hot water, as well as take laxatives if you have not had a bowel movement. You go throughout your day taking multiple supplements such as liver detox pills, as well as fish oils, and probiotics. Finally, before dinner you are required to sauna, steam bath, and walk for at least 30 minutes.
As you can see this is not an easy diet to follow and it is most definitely not “Ultra Simple” by any means. On top of the strict daily regime, you are not allowed to have sugar, alcohol, caffeine, processed foods, gluten, wheat, citrus foods, dairy, or eggs. Wow. This one is going to be tough. There are most definitely studies done on why this type of eating has been proven to help one lose weight but it is not the easiest route to follow, especially if you have a job and a family to take care of.
This diet program will tell you what to eat during the program, which will take the guesswork out of your daily meals. That is probably the only simple factor with the Ultra Simple Diet program. With regards to social media, there is not a lot of hype around social media with this book, and it may be for that reason alone (it’s a book). There is no denying that everything the book is promoting, will indeed make a person healthier, but the idea that they throw in your face about fast weight loss is definitely not the right approach.
Detox baths, clean eating, exercises, and mediation are all great for a healthier you, but make sure you approach this read with an open heart and realistic expectations of how difficult the program will be to successfully follow. Lastly, the idea that someone will be able to keep this lifestyle up long term is rather far fetched, and many customers saw weight come back on the moment they stopped with the diet routine and strict regime. Do with this information what you will, but note that this program is not for the faint of heart!
