Simply Weight Loss Review
By CANDICE GREY ConsumersCompare.org Update: Oct 15, 2024 |
Simply Weight Loss is a 6-week program of herbal supplements that requires you to follow just 3 simple steps: Drink Your Water, Take Your Herbs, and Eat Enough Food. It’s just that simple! It certainly sounds great and maybe a little too easy. It claims to be the best weight loss program on the market. You can choose from three options:
Option 1
Priced at $525 and is called the Peak Performance Kit. It consists of a 6-week Supply of Simply Weight Loss Day and Night Time Formula, 1 Essential Fatty Acids, 2 Carbo-Block, 1 Small Fat Stabilizer, 1 Large Fat Stabilizer, and a Water Bottle.
Option 2
Priced at $425 and is called the Intro Package. It consists of 6 Week’s Supply of Day and Night Time Formula as well as 1 Essential Fatty Acids, 1 Carbo-Block, 1 Small Fat Stabilizer, and a Water Bottle.
Option 3
Priced at $219 and is called The Day & Night Time Kit and has just the Simply Weight Loss Day and Night Time Formula. However, Simply Reviews Weight Loss advises that most people also buy additional Carb Blockers and Fat Stabilizers even with the Peak Performance Kit. You just need to add another $159 to your cart price for additional carb blockers.
But, fat stabilizers were not available, just essential fatty acids at $39. There is no information about how to use Simply Weight Loss on the website. The name of the pills is the only indicator that suggests taking your pills throughout the day and at night time. They do state there is advice available through customer service and that there are some recipes on the Facebook page. However, it is not clear if there is a diet plan sent with the products, but they do suggest you drink lots of water. Simply Weight Loss Reviews mention that it claims to be effective.

Ingredients
There are 19 ingredients in this product.
- Bladderwrack
- Chromium
- Fo-ti
- Guarana
- Hawthorn berry
- Iodine
- Licorice root
- Citrus Aurantium
- Mate
- Magnolia bark
- Uva-ursi
- Vanadium
- Calcium phosphate
- Cascara sagrada
- Chamomile
- Fennel
- Orange peel
- Senna
- Valerian root
Of the ingredients listed, there are certainly some useful ones that you could consider to boost a sensible weight loss program. I’d stay clear of a few of the ingredients though such as Senna, it is a laxative and you shouldn’t be taking them every day. Guarana is a good choice for those seeking to lose weight as it contains stimulants including caffeine and antioxidants. It has several health benefits and it can speed up the metabolism and reduce your appetite. [2] Chromium is also an excellent choice, especially if your downfall is your sweet tooth. It is said to help curb cravings. [3] Valerian Root is included in the Night supplement and if you are taking supplements such as guarana that have caffeine in them, Valerian can help you overcome the associated nervousness and agitation and get a good night’s sleep.[4]
The Science Behind Weight Loss
The evidence that Weight Loss works is entirely anecdotal and there’s no clinical research to support the effectiveness of this weight loss program.
Currently, there have been no lawsuits filed against Simply Weight Loss and that’s pretty much to be expected. After all, Simply Weight Loss is merely a combination of “Do You Good” herbal supplements along with a tagline of “Eat Enough”. Simply Weight Loss has a disclaimer that states:
“Weight loss results will always vary for individuals, depending on the individual’s physical condition, lifestyle, diet and personal commitment. Always consult your primary physician before making any dietary changes or starting any nutrition, weight control or exercise program. The information provided on this website is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition or disease, and it is not meant for you to self-diagnose or self-treat your specific health issue.”
Word on the Street
There is a total of 9 Simply Weight Loss reviews on The Simply Weight Loss Facebook page. All of those are 5-star reviews which makes me wonder if they are truly genuine, as reviews tend to vary in satisfaction, however good your product is.
Either way, 9 reviews in total, and no scientific evidence are not a huge amount of assurance that this diet works. There isn’t a Simply Weight Loss Reviews section on the website from people who have purchased Simply diet pills but some of the testimonials read:
“I had to be ready – seriously ready to do what it takes. This offered me the right tools and the right direction to make sure I met my goal. In short, as ready as I was… I could not have done it without them! THANK YOU to the entire Weight Loss staff!”
“I’m seriously blown away by how much weight I’ve lost in just my first week. This product is as good as you say it is!”
“They worked Great for me. I lost 42 lbs. in 12 weeks and feel really great. I followed the instructions and stayed with the diet and I’m really pleased with the results.”
Forget The Price
What I can’t get over is the astonishing prices charged by Simply Weight Loss for their combination of beneficial herbal supplements. Given the very honest approach that it has taken to display the ingredients in their elixir, nothing is stopping you from heading to your local pharmacy and health food store and picking up most of these supplements for a fraction of the price. I certainly won’t be spending $525 on these simple diet (herbal) pills.
You could take the $525 you might have spent on this herbal product and enroll in any other weight loss program with actual proven benefits. You would still have leftover change from your $525, even if you were to buy an ANNUAL membership, WITH COACHING, and a reputable program, to buy other supplements or proven fat and carb blockers!
Any positive results you see from Simply diet pills, in my opinion, would be very minimal. After spending such a large amount of money on supplements, I imagine these people are heavily invested but in it for the long haul, and not in an advantageous way. If they then take on low-calorie diets (LCDs) along with Weight Loss pills, more than likely, they will see results. My advice, save your money.
The Bottom Line: Is It Worth a Try?
I’ve assessed this diet as having “Insufficient Data” to prove its effectiveness. I believe this is a very fair evaluation in giving this label. It’s certainly not risky in terms of your health, but depending on your finances, it could very well be. To me, it is not very crafty marketing, not so believable labeling, and snake oil when it comes to Simply Diet pills.
The photos of the people in their testimonials do not look real, some are even possibly photo-shopped or copied from outside sources. In my opinion, it is just a concoction of herbal supplements that will do you some good internally, but not so much with weight loss. It claims to be the best weight loss program on the market according to consumer studies and that is hard to believe with insufficient proof and hardly any ratings.
Obviously, if you embark seriously on a credible weight loss program, while simultaneously taking diet pills, you can lose more weight than these pills alone. Also, keep in mind this program does not offer a money-back guarantee because according to their sales rep, “we cannot guarantee that you will follow the 3 simple steps, therefore, we do not offer a Money-back Guarantee”, this was pretty shocking to hear on the day of compliance and customer satisfaction.
I did unfortunately purchase the peak performance kit after speaking with the rep at SWL 2 times. My initial concern was the amount of pills you have to take and I specifically told her that I couldn’t take a ton of pills. She made it seem like it was a pill in the morning, a pill at night (day and nighttime kit) and then a carbo block, fat stabilizer, and a fatty acid pill. Already high on my list for amount to take. Then you get it and its 11 pills in the AM, 10 pills at lunch, 8 pills at dinner, and 12 pills at bedtime. That is 41 pills a day. And they are HUGE. Plus the 6 weeks kit does not even include enough of the carbo block and fat stabilizer to last the whole 6 weeks. So for me I would not recommend this program. I have also been in touch with the rep and basically was told all sales are final even though she knew my concerns about the pills. Suggested I take time to crush them up and take them. Also asked if there were specific foods you had to eat, was told no just a healthy diet. The 3 day jump start has very specific things you must do and is an additional 39.99. Then the rest of the suggested diet is basically atkins(ish).
The 3 day jumpstart consists of taking your herbs and drinking water along with drinking 5 90 calorie shakes every two hours during the day and having a piece of chicken or fish along with up to 6 cups of raw vegetables on day 1 then on day 2 and 3 you take your herbs and drink water and eat fruit every two hours all day long until dinner and you have a shake and up to 6 cups of raw vegetables. Each morning you start your day with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
Simply Weight Loss worked amazing for me! I lost 23lbs in just a matter of 6 weeks! I got the Peak Performance Kit, and I’m not sure where you guys got your pricing from, because that was way off. The plan was super simple, and worked wonders! The herbs made me feel amazing and I can recommend this program to anyone!
I spent over $1200 on Simply Weight Loss. I have the statements to prove it. I too spoke with their rep which to my knowledge is the owner. The same woman on the radio advertisement is the same person I spoke to. I asked all the right questions and researched several review sites. Everything in my gut and from what I read online said do not do this especially since there is not money back guarantee. That right there should have been the biggest STOP sign, but I was so desperate to lose the weight that I actually let her talk me into one of the highest plans (which supposedly was on sale) I even put this on my credit card, so I paid even more in the long run. I followed everything, drank the horrible tasting mixes, lemon juice, pills, and even tried some of the recipes I did not lose one pound. Then the phone calls started to come in wanting to know if I wanted to buy more. WHAT! I explained that it was not working and of course it was my fault that it doesn’t work for everyone. I felt even worse than before. I was out of a whole lot of money and my weight was still high. I didn’t even get the extra energy, better skin, etc. nothing! The reason I am writing this review is because I fell for this because of my low self-esteem, and I do not want anyone else to waste their hard-earned money on these products that truly do not work. Please remember the people on the radio did not pay anything for the samples that they tried, and they are paid actors. I hope this helps others.
